For my project I plan on doing 1-2 interviews based on different perspectives of whether people would use Facebook to get help with school assignments.
The interview of the person that would use Facebook:
1) Have you ever used Facebook to help you with school assignments?
2) If so, what aspects of Facebook have you used, ex: events, status, ect?
3) If not, what is the first place you would look on Facebook to get help from your "friends"?
4) Have you used the advice you received from your "friends" in your actual assignment or were you just looking for an opinion?
5) Do you use Facebook for any type of assignment or just specific types?
6) What is the most common subject you use on Facebook to receive help?
7) Do you use any other social media websites besides Facebook to get other students opinions?
8) How many times have you used Facebook to help you in school assignments?
9) Would you do it for future assignments?
10) Would you recommend other students to do this?
The inteview of the person that would not use Facebook:
1) How come you would not use Facebook to help you with school assignments?
2) Would you use any social media to help you with school assignments?
3) If you see your "friend" posting a school assignment on their Facebook page do you help them out?
4) Have you ever considered it?
5) What do you think the main purpose of social media sites are?
6) What is something you would say to a FB "friend" who asked you your opinion on using FB to help with school assignments?
7) Do you find it challenging to come up with ideas on yoour own without receive feedback from peers?
8) What would you do if you had to conduct a survey?
9) Do you ask outside people for their help on assignments that confuse you, ex: parents, friends, professor?
